The Los Angeles based lifestyle label, Chinatown Market, was named after New York's bustling Canal Street area and its easily identified by its yellow smiley face logo. His owner, Mike Cherman, was raised in NY, but moving to San Diego in high school opened his eyes to street-wear culture. He started making and selling his own t-shirts from the trunk of his car after class and after several failed projects he created Chinatown Market. Run by dreamers, cool kids, misfits and visionaries. Nowadays, the brand has already collaborated with renamed labels such as Puma, Vans, Converse and offers a great variety of trendy garments.
